  1. Do I have to be absent while my home is being cleaned? Answer: Absolutely not; though many clients prefer to schedule our services at a time they will be out. They do this for several reasons: they can avoid being "in the way," they won't smelling any cleaning products or hear vacuum noises, and they LOVE coming home to the finished product! If you plan on being present while we clean, that is fine with us. Be advised that we can not clean in a room where children are playing or where pets are running about! 
  2. What if I don't want the cleaning service to come into a specific area of my home? Answer:  Let us know if there's an area of your house that's "off limits." (E.g., a home office, etc.) We will take note and avoid that area during your service.
  3. I won't be home when the cleaning service comes. Can I give you a key? Answer: Absolutely. Simply inform Ashley, L4D's owner, that you'd like Key Service; and she will come  to personally pick up a copy of your key and have you sign our key agreement. The owner is the only person who will have access to your key.
  4. I need to cancel my cleaning; is there a charge associated with this? Answer: Cleanings that require cancelling also require a 72 hour notice, so that we may fill your time slot with another customer. A cleaning cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a $75 fee; thank you for realizing that our time is valuable! 
  5. Will Lust for Dust accept my credit card as payment? Answer: L4D is unable to accept credit cards as a valid form of payment. We thank you for your understanding- and gladly accept cash, check, or money order. 
  6. I wasn't happy with a certain area of my home after the cleaning. Will you refund my money? Answer: Lust for Dust receives very few complaints. In the event that an area of your home isn't up to your satisfaction, please inform us immediately. We will do a reclean of the area, complimentary, within 48 hours. L4D does not offer monetary refunds.
  7. Does Lust for Dust sell gift certificates? Answer: Yes, Lust for Dust can provide you with a beautiful gift certificate in any amount for that special someone. All gift certificates come with a 4 piece box of Christopher Elbow Artisanal chocolates, at no additional fee. These make a terrific gift for new mothers- or anyone who could use a little extra household help!!!
